Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Export Forwarding Agent to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing air export shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and transportation logistics, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the complete air export process from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.

Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transportation operations.

Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to track shipments and manage logistics efficiently.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and account management.

Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive pricing.

Prepare and review shipping documentation in compliance with TSA regulations and international trade laws.

Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities through lead generation and inside sales activities.

Maintain accurate data entry for shipment records, contracts, and pricing agreements.

Support dispatching operations by coordinating shipment schedules and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Monitor industry trends in logistics sales, 3PL, NVOCC, and transportation planning to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications

Experience in supply chain management or logistics, particularly in air export forwarding, is a plus.

Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) is an advantage.

Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, including CITRUS/DESCARTES transactions, is a plus.

Strong multitasking ability with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for customer relationship management and B2B sales interactions.

Relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are considered an asset.
